Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026

This page explains what personal information Fizzy Moon Brewhouse & Grill collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate.

Who we are

Fizzy Moon Brewhouse & Grill, 35 Regent Street, Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, CV32 5EE. We are the data controller for the information described on this page.

For anything to do with your data, email [email protected] or call 01926 888715.

Booking a table

Table bookings are handled by SevenRooms, a third party reservation system. When you book, you leave your details with SevenRooms rather than with this website, and their own privacy terms apply to that booking. We can see and use those details to manage your reservation and to contact you about it.

Enquiries by WhatsApp, email and phone

Several buttons on this site open WhatsApp with a message ready to send. Nothing is sent anywhere until you press send in WhatsApp yourself. Once you do, we hold that conversation the same way we would any other message, and WhatsApp's own terms apply to it. The same goes for emails and phone calls.

Our Sunday roast offer form works this way too. It takes your name, email, phone number, party size and the Sunday you want, and hands them to WhatsApp as a ready made message. The website itself does not store what you typed.

Pre-ordering food for an event

If you have been sent a pre-order link for a Christmas party or a similar event, that form does save your details so we can prepare your order. We store the lead booker's surname, phone number and email address, your booking reference, the number of covers, each guest's menu choices, any sides, your order total and any notes you leave us, including allergy and dietary information.

This is kept in a secure database and used only to prepare and serve your event. We do not use it for marketing.

Cookies and tracking

When you first arrive you will see a banner asking about cookies. Until you accept, only the cookies needed to make the site work are used. Nothing is loaded for analytics or advertising until you say yes, and if you reject, it stays off.

If you accept, we use:

  • Google Analytics — to see how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where they came from. We use this to understand what people want from the site, not to identify anyone.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel — to measure whether our adverts are working and to show adverts to people who have visited the site.
  • TikTok pixel — the same thing for adverts on TikTok.

If you fill in the Sunday roast offer form after accepting cookies, your name, email and phone number are converted into an irreversible scrambled code in your own browser and that code is sent to Meta. This lets Meta tell us the advert worked without us handing over your actual details. Your real name, email and phone number are never sent to Meta, and the scrambling cannot be undone to recover them.

To change your mind later, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will ask you again.

Security and hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which also provides basic protection against attacks and abuse. Cloudflare processes limited technical information, such as IP addresses, to do that. This is necessary for the site to work safely and is not used for advertising.

How long we keep things

Event pre-orders are kept for as long as we need them for the event and our own accounting records, then deleted. Enquiries and messages are kept while the conversation is useful and cleared out periodically. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics.

Who else sees your information

We do not sell your information. It is shared only with the services described above, being SevenRooms for bookings, WhatsApp for messages, our database provider for pre-orders, Cloudflare for hosting, and Google, Meta and TikTok for analytics and advertising where you have accepted cookies. We may also share information where the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to us using it for marketing, and withdraw your cookie consent at any time. Email [email protected] and we will deal with it.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
